I thought Zoomtopia was a great event this year. A nice mix of announcements, entertainment, and education (good food too). The main take-away is cloud-speed. Zoom grabbed a space theme this year, but it’s not in orbit — it’s at Warp 9.

There were plenty of space references (Trek, Wars, and lots o astronauts), but how did they manage to miss E.T? Zoom Phone home!

Here are my initial thoughts from Zoomtopia19 in San Jose, Calif. There was so much content there that I may end up doing a research note, so stay tuned.

I thought it was a nice touch too that the event took place literally across the street from Zoom’s HQ office.
