The crowds were thinner, and several familiar AV industry faces opted to sit this one out. AVIXA attempted to reframe that reality by highlighting a “record percentage of end-user attendees” – a claim that fooled few. Clearly, the audience – and the industry – are evolving.
The smaller show floor underscored a critical trend: AV’s slow but steady migration into enterprise IT. Booths were smaller, standalone integrators were fewer, and the overall focus shifted toward managed services, platform alignment, and cloud-native deployment strategies. AV is being steadily and undeniably absorbed into the workflows, budgets, and expectations of IT – a shift that’s reshaping not just the show floor, but the entire industry.

ClickShare by Barco
Barco’s new ClickShare Hub Core and Pro models introduce a modular approach to hybrid meetings, with native UC support via Microsoft MDEP and updated, guest-friendly USB-C buttons that no longer need to download software on guest PCs. Cisco’s new Room Vision PTZ camera brings studio-grade AI to large meeting, training, and event spaces. Its 4K sensor, 60× zoom, and silent motorized pan–tilt–zoom deliver smooth, cinematic tracking of speakers, while built-in head‑detection AI and PresenterTrack automation minimize manual setup — all using a single PoE+ Ethernet link. Scalable over IP, centrally managed via Control Hub, and available in Black or White for discreet deployment, it simplifies multi-camera layouts without compromising image quality
Crestron’s Three Cs and True Blue Platform
At InfoComm 2025, Crestron introduced a unified message around Content, Collaboration, and Control — the “Three Cs” now core to its strategy. The company showcased edge AI-powered intelligent video features like presenter tracking, visual AI direction, and multi-camera switching, all designed to match room workflows and stay out of the way of actual work. Supporting this is True Blue, Crestron’s newly expanded customer experience framework that spans training, service, and peer support across its entire community.
Huddly C1 Camera
The Huddly C1 breaks the mold of soft, me-too videobars. It is a sharp-edged, AI-enabled USB (box more than a bar) built for small and medium rooms, doubling as the logic hub for Huddly’s multi-camera Crew platform. It processes video and audio intelligence on-device with no programming required, offering clean design, smooth, non-porous surfaces, and industrial durability. The C1 stands out for its ability to scale simply – without the clutter of traditional AV stacks.
Nureva HDX Series
Nureva’s HDX Series delivers large-room audio without the usual AV complexity, combining voice lift, AI processing, and Microphone Mist technology into a simplified, scalable platform. With up to four audio bars and support for assistive listening, wireless mics, and lesson capture, it eliminates the need for racks and DSPs. Designed for ease of deployment, HDX offers performance typically reserved for pro AV installs – minus the zoning and programming burden.
