On Nov 20, Cisco announced its intent to acquire Acano. These two companies have a long history, longer than Acano exists because a decent portion of its talent came from Cisco and Tandberg prior to that.
It’s a very aggressive move for Cisco which is paying “about $700 million” for a reasonably small company. This ROI isn’t about the revenue, it’s about fit. The market likes what Acano has, and it significantly strengthens Cisco against several competitors. Checkout this TalkingPointz 2Pager.
